TattleTown
Terms of Service
Effective July 2, 2026
What TattleTown is
An anonymous platform for place-anchored, user-generated storytelling. You post and read short, first-person "Tattles" — lived-experience stories organized into vice-flavored categories ("Corners") anchored to real physical places. Other people — not us — create the content you see. We do not write it, endorse it, or verify it. Read every Tattle critically.
Who can use it
You must be 17 or older. By tapping "I agree" you represent that you meet this requirement. TattleTown contains mature, place-anchored content about real-world vice, risk, and lived experience — it is not appropriate for minors.
Anonymity — what it means and what it doesn't
You are anonymous to other users. Your pseudonym (signature) is your only visible identity in the Town. However, anonymity to other users does not mean invisibility to the operator, to law, or to a court. We process account and location data as described in our Privacy Policy, and we may disclose data when legally required to protect people from serious harm.
Your content and our licence
You are responsible for everything you post. By posting a Tattle you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and moderate it for the purpose of operating the Service. You must not post: harassment or threats, illegal content, content that identifies or targets minors, content that is false and defamatory, or content that violates someone's privacy.
Content policy
TattleTown is organised around vice-flavoured "Corners" (Vices, Petty Mischief, Heartbreak, Hauntings, Confessions, Scenes). Content that is off-topic, harmful, or that violates our rules may be removed. Repeat violations may result in account termination.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TattleTown is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for user-generated content, your interactions with other users or with real-world places, or any loss arising from your use of the App.
Dispute resolution — arbitration & class-action waiver
Please read this carefully; it affects how disputes are resolved. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court. You and TattleTown waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. Arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its applicable rules. Mandatory arbitration and class-action waivers are not enforceable in every jurisdiction; where they are prohibited by law, this section does not apply, and nothing here waives any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we will notify you in-app and update the version number. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
